About Me

Claudio Mele, Italian born in Peru.

I lived in Brazil, where I began my university studies, completing my training as an economist at La Sapienza University in Rome., in 1985.

For 30 years, I worked in finance for an international group in several Latin American countries, based in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Buenos Aires. In 2016, I began my training in Analytical Psychology at the Carl Gustav Jung Institute in Zurich, and in Psychology at the University of Buenos Aires.

Between June 2020 and 2023, I worked as a psychoanalyst at the CG Jung Outpatient Clinic in Zurich and with political refugees in Lörrach, Germany. Since October 2020, I have been practicing in Zurich (Streulistrasse 2, 8032) and in Schopfheim, Germany (Roggenbachstraße 58, 79650). Between 2021 and 2023, I worked in Personal Development with MBA students at the IMD Business School in Lausanne.

In 2023, I completed my training at the CG Jung Institute in Zurich, where I am an analyst member and also serve on the Research Committee. I am a member of the IAAP (International Association for Analytical Psychology) and also of ARPA (Associazione per la Ricerca in Psicologia Analítica). Since 2021, I have been writing, presenting and participating in psychoanalytic conferences.

In 2023, together with a group of psychoanalysts, I founded the Unitas Center, a Jungian center whose aim is to organize seminars, study groups and offer psychoanalysis and counseling to individuals, groups and companies.

From 2023, I began to develop, together with an astrologer, a method called Astrological Psychoanalytical Counseling, in which psychoanalysis and astrology work together with the aim of supporting individuals in their development.
